Nu Comme Un Verre is Hugues Laborde's answer to how relaxed Bordeaux can get: no added sulfites, no oak, just concrete and stainless steel doing as little as possible to a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Colombard and Muscadelle off the same limestone as the rest of Haut-Meyreau. The name means "bare as a glass," which is exactly the idea: nothing dressing up the fruit. Bright and citrusy, it's the kind of white you open on a Tuesday.
