Domaine de Sainte Anne is a winery located in the heart of the Loire Valley in France, known for producing high-quality sparkling wines. One of their standout offerings is the Crémant de Loire, a traditional method sparkling wine made from a blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay grapes.

The Crémant de Loire has a beautiful pale yellow color with a fine, persistent mousse. On the nose, it exhibits aromas of fresh apples and pears, complemented by hints of brioche and hazelnuts. The palate is clean and lively, with crisp acidity and flavors of citrus and green apple, leading to a long and refreshing finish.

The Domaine de Sainte Anne has a long history of winemaking, dating back to the 17th century. Today, the estate is owned and managed by the Fournier family, who are committed to sustainable and organic farming practices. The winemaker, Francois Plouzeau, is a highly respected figure in the Loire Valley wine scene, known for his meticulous attention to detail and his focus on expressing the unique terroir of the region in his wines.

The Crémant de Loire is produced using the traditional method, also known as the méthode champenoise, which involves a secondary fermentation in the bottle to create the wine's signature bubbles. After the grapes are hand-harvested and pressed, the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks before being bottled with added yeast and sugar for the second fermentation. The wine is then aged on its lees for a minimum of 12 months before disgorgement and dosage, resulting in a complex and nuanced sparkling wine.
