Com Tu means "like you" in Catalan, and it is the Barbier family's Garnacha from La Figuera, a hilltop village in DO Montsant at around 550 to 600 metres. The three old-vine plots sit on clay and limestone instead of the slate of their Priorat home, and the altitude keeps the wine fresh. It ferments with native yeasts, 40% as whole clusters, then ages 18 months in large old oak. Wild cherry, raspberry, orange peel and thyme sit over silky tannins, and it is worth opening next to the Clos Mogador Priorat to taste what the ground changes.
