WINERY: Château Haut Meyreau
GRAPE: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
REGION: Bordeaux
The term "Le Cancre" generally refers to a rather pejorative aspect, but precisely we do not say that every rule has its exception.
This cuvée is a nod to Jean-Pierre Derouet, today at the head of the Invindia vineyards and a schoolboy who left school very young, to then be forged by the school of vi(gn)e . It is with his free-thinking spirit that he gave these vineyards this desire to do things their own way, to free themselves from the codes and dogmas of Bordeaux viticulture.
With a fairly classic blend in this region, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine draws its uniqueness from its modernity. At the same time greedy, sunny and all in roundness, we have here a wine of pleasure, a Bordeaux which has been designed to accompany naughty moments and much more.
