From the 5 ha Merlot organic vines of Château Le Conte, "Fantaisies de Le Conte" is a very rare wine, the one and only natural wine in Saint Émilion Grand Cru. Hughues Laborde and his team at Vignobles Invindia took a risky bet by producing a natural wine on this prestigious appelation.
 
We are astonished by the result, fresh aromas, subtle juice, refine barrel ageing, a perfect harmony. This wine is offering another vision of Saint-Émilion, more modern and accessible. 
 
The estate, rehabilitated in 2017, extends over 5 Ha in the town of Saint-Hippolyte, a stone's throw from the city of Saint-Émilion. From 2018, the conversion to organic, which lasts 3 years, was started. In 2020, Hugues Laborde, winemaker of Vignobles Invindia, had the idea of creating this cuvée. Aging partly in egg-shaped concrete, the other in oak barrels, all without adding sulphur, offers us a unique profile in this prestigious appellation. Freshness, finesse and a particularly pleasant fruitiness mixed with a beautiful structure, these are the ingredients that make this fantasy a wine of real success.
