WINERY: Mas Lau
GRAPE: Grenache Blanc
VITICULTURE: Biodynamic wine
Between vineyards, olive groves and scrubland, the land of Souvignargues, located 50 km from the sea in the first Cévenol foothills, offers a panoramic view of the Pic Saint-Loup. The soils are varied and rich in their complexity of sandstone, clay, red earth and clapas.
The estate is fortunate to benefit from a warm climate while having fairly cool nights. The maritime entrances bring morning hydration to the foliage, without forgetting the mistral which avoids some diseases and concentrates the perfumes.
Laurent Bagnol's vines are cultivated as naturally as possible, without weed killers, chemical fertilizers or synthetic products, in full respect of organic farming methods and biodynamics. The harvest is manual, the vinification is non-interventionist with the use of indigenous yeasts and without the addition of oenological inputs or SO2.
Laurent likes to say that he produces authentic wines. We can only agree with him! It's so good and at a low price too. You will want more!

TASTING NOTES
Beautiful robe of a golden and sparkling yellow for this atypical and exceptional natural white wine, 100% white Grenache. Nose of white flesh fruits, pear, quince and peach. Very balanced minerality, aromas of pear and yellow flowers, mimosas, broom. Length in the mouth and complexity are there.
A wine that is self-sufficient and is therefore perfect for an aperitif, just to impress friends. It would also be suitable with white meat, cooked fish. Ideal with raw fish, sushi or smoked salmon for example. But in all circumstances a very floral and distinctive wine that is fondly remembered. With this specificity specific to really well-made natural wines: the aromas remain in the mouth long after the last sip has been savored, so much so that the wine still seems present 5 or 10 minutes after having been swallowed.
